Here at Emma Madden School of Ballet we believe that the art of ballet is a hugely fun and rewarding way to build confidence, increase coordination, stimulate the creativity we all hold while maintaining a healthy mind and making lifelong friends. Together our students and fully qualified teachers work towards performances and examinations in a way that builds confidence, strength, stamina and friendships through our love of movement and music.

About

Emma began ballet at the age of 4 with Paula Kearns. At 15 she auditioned successfully for the Irish National Youth Ballet Company during which time she performed in theaters across Ireland, the UK and America. At 16 Emma received a scholarship to the Northern Ballet School, Manchester, after which she performed on stages worldwide taking on roles as Dance Captain, Production Manager and Assistant Choreographer. Emma has often worked on the Education team for Ballet Ireland in theatres around Ireland.

With full qualifications in Classical Ballet and Freestyle Dance (AIDTA), Emma's students benefit from her experience of performance contracts across the seas as well as her vast teaching career in Ireland, the UK and Italy. As well as her extensive training, Emma brings with her a qualification in Physical Therapy and a degree in Applied Health Science (MIAPT) and is CORU registered on the Physiotherapists Registration Board.

Originally from Knocklyon, Emma is delighted to be offering her skills and working within her local community.
